Sat on the train heading north, the sun still hadn’t come up. I had my headphones in and as sweet disposition began to play the sun kissed the horizon. Recently I had been questioning myself, my approach to story telling and in that moment I felt inspired. If today was to be documented in my mind I knew where I would want my story to begin. All the little things id done that morning came flooding to my mind, the messed up sheets as I got out of bed, the spoon from my tea still on the dining table, the kiss goodbye I gave my girls, each moment part of my story so far that day.

The next day  I was feeling brave and fearless. I made my way up the stairs and opened the heavy front door.  As I came in the door greeted by the smell of coffee. The flat was warm the heat a sting on my cold hands, I knew today would be a sweet and beautiful day.

Looking through an open door there was a slither of light coming through the curtains in the bedroom, light caressing the edges of Eileen’s skin, as her and Robert were wrapped up in an intimate embrace. This is where their story would begin.
