The inspiration for this shoot came from a dress. I’d worked with E&W Couture before and followed her on social media forever! When she posted her Maya dress for the first time I knew I had to shoot it! I had a crystal clear image of a soft pastel floral inspired shoot with a beautiful stone wall setting in my head.
The dress was paired with a delicately hand crafted flower crown from Folky dokey. The cool wedding jewellery from Stone Hearts Club. And the most stunning shoes from Emmy London that were embellishment with a beaded feather on either side. The peach veil came from Sash & Veil. It was beautifully and delicately made.
For hair and make up we had Jenny Gooding who nailed the brief of an alternative spring look. With Rose on the eye, a little blush and bold lip. The hair was delicately braided with loose waves.
The dress was worn by the gorgeous Elle Keogh, a red head with enchanting green/blue eyes, pale skin and a cool septum piercing.
We found Allerton towers which was the perfect setting! It had these huge flower shrubberies, a crumbling stone arch walk, an a magical secret garden feel.
The cake and favours came from Roisin of Ro The Cake Artist. Her cakes are bespoke, alternative and edgy. The Cake had a top tier orange and cardamom sponge with a salted caramel centre. Bottom tier dark chocolate sponge, white chocoolate buttercream and fresh raspberries. It was to die for! The favours were shortbread with hand painted watercolour to match the hand painted water colour on the cake.
We had Agnes and Bee in charge of the flowers and floral design, heavy foliage, wild, wonderful and whimsical flowers decorated the setting. The prettiest of spring blooms gathered in style adorned with silk ribbon from Silk and Purl for the bouquet.
The styling came from The Soirée Stylists. She worked wonders with the copper cutlery, crystal cut glasses, copper candle sticks, the tones and simplicity tied in so beautifully with the style of the shoot. She was like a little pocket rocket getting everything ready and perfected in no time at all!
Peggy & Kate provided the most adorable stationary set, designed, printed and lovingly hand finished by them. It was a mix of greens and blush with a beautifully finished font.
We made such awesome use of the different textures and trends for the whimsically inspired bride.
We can’t stop swooning.
